Question : Y son has a large knot between his eyebrows above bridge of nose. We've popped it a few times and got a little white puss out of it but it's the size of a dime, hard as a rock and even his eyes are swollen! Thoughts?

Hi !!
Thanks for being at healthcaremagic
According to your history it seems to be either an inflammed cyst or a furuncle which is a bacterial infection. I would recommend you to upload a picture of the knot so that a proper diagnosis is made and I can guide you accordingly.

Brief Answer:
Inflammed acne lesion
Detailed Answer:
I have seen the photograph you have attached and it is an inflammed acne lesion . I can see many comedones and pustules on the face of your child. It is one of the lesion that got inflammed and resulted in this knot. I would treat my patients with antibiotic levofloxacin and antiinflammatory medicine serratiopeptidase aceclofenac combination along with topical antibiotic nadifloxacin but I don't know whether these medicines are available as over the counter in your country.
Besides this ask your child to keep his face as dry as possible, avoid applying cream or moisturizer, avoid oiling of scalp and reduce the intake of sugary foods.
I hope for his speedy recovery.

So you have general names for medicines you suggested? We are in the US.
Brief Answer:
Above mentioned drugs are prescription medicines in USA
Detailed Answer:
I don't think levofloxacin, nadifloxacin and serratiopeptidase will be available as over the counter medicines in USA. You can use tablet azithromycin, tablet ibuprofen and neosporin ointment as I think these you can get without prescription.
