Suggest Treatment For Laryngo-pharyngeal Reflux
laryngo-pharyngeal reflux
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting the query
After going through the history, I do understand you could be suffering from Laryngo-pharyngeal reflux secondary to acid reflux disease.
There is silent regurgitation of the acid from the stomach into the throat causing inflammation of the affected area. This inflammation gives the sense of foreign body or lump in the throat, associated with post nasal drip.
Treatment is aimed at reducing the acid reflux. Few life style modifications along with certain medications such as proton pump inhibitors and prokinetics can help in alleviating the problems.
I would suggest you to get back to your ENT for a further evaluation and management.
Hope this answers your query. Revert back to me if you have any follow-up queries.
