Question : Hi, after a bowel movement, I tend to leak. I wipe right inside what seems to be my sphincter with toilet paper and clean it out. This occurs after every bowel movement. Has my sphincter loosen beyond seal?

Brief Answer:
Foods,constipation,anal sex as possible causes...

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

There are many factors affecting bowel movements, including:
- foods you eat: oily/fried foods tend to give the leaking sensation
- constipation
- anal sex

I advise to:
- go to bathroom anytime you feel too, do not delay to avoid feces staying too long in your rectum, thus, make it difficult to clean
- avoid oily/fried foods
- avoid anal sex to prevent anal sphincter damages
- avoid constipation : drink more water, take probiotics, etc.

If no improvement, proctologist is advised to be consulted and to run anoscopy to examine anal structures.

Hope it helped!
