Get an xray or MRI done; follow as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in Healthcaremagic.com.
This is Dr. Swarnava Dattagupta answering your query.
I understand your concern.
Yes bone spurs can cause nerve impingement and lead to tingling and occasional numbness.
I would suggest an xray or preferably an MRI to assess the current status of your cervical spine and surrounding soft tissue. Alongwith, I would advise the following-
Avoid excess weight bearing until further assessment.
Physiotherapy in form of static neck exercises, bilateral upper limb range of motion exercises preferably after being shown by therapist.
Mild painkiller gel locally can be useful.
Pregabalin-mecobalamin for a month.
You can consult the above with your family or treating doctor.
Get back to me with the reports.
Hope I have answered your question.
If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.
Regards.
