Posted on Thu, 29 May 2014
Question: My MD did an ultrasound on my abdomen and found a lesion in my gall bladder but not stones. He is going to monitor it every three months to see if it grows. My question is besides monitoring it and besides surgery, how can I heal this situation.I would like to know what you think of and know about heat therapy or any common herbs and or vitamans or drugs that could cure this problem.Thankyou. Brief Answer:
Consult a surgeon.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

How does your doctor know if it is not a gallbladder cancer? Please note that waiting 3 months is not a good idea. Lesion in the gallbladder that is not a stone can be caused by a polyp or cancer. As long as it wont be removed, he can not be sure.
Moreover, there is no medicine or other than surgery ways to get rid of it.
I suggest you to do not wait 3 months and consult a surgeon.

Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.

I would like to follow up on your answer because my MD says the gall bladder may not need to be removed if the lesion shrinks or does not grow further .This is why he is monitoring the situation. I hope and pray the gall bladder does not need removal. Please reply

Brief Answer:
.

Detailed Answer:
Can you please attach this ultrasound report?
Gallbladder removal can be done with laparoscopy without any serious complications. So no need to be afraid of this surgery. What you should be afraid of is that you have something in your gallbladder and you can not be sure what it is.
In my opinion it is better to remove it and make sure nothing wrong is inside.
