Question : My grand daughter has a bad case of HFMD in her mouth. What can we do to ease the pain?

                                    Brief Answer:
HFMD
Detailed Answer:
Hello. I just read your question.
As you see, the lesions associated with HFMD can be painful, usually in the mouth. Pain can be treated with Children's Ibuprofin.
For mouth pain, an additional remedy is to mix maalox and benadryl in equal amounts and have you granddaughter rinse and spit. Her age makes it questionable if she can do this. However, if you believe she can, it is worth a try. Otherwise I would stay with the Children's Ibuprofen.
