Question : I am taking Hydrocodon-Acetaminophen 5-325 for pain.
I may have taken two this morning by accident. Do I need to go to my doctor for this?
I feel a little light-headed, slight stomach discomfort. No other side effects noticed at
this time. I had surgery yesterday on my foot and took 1 pill at 12:30pm, 6:30pm and 12:30am.
This morning I forgot whether I took my 6:30 pill. My count of the pills remaining in the bottle indicated I had not taken it so I took one.

Hello,

you don't have to go to the doctor for this unless you have develop serious symptoms like hypotension, breathlessness, etc. Let me say that it would be very strange if you did though, because the dose is not high enough to justify serious symptoms. Both acetaminophen and hydrocodone can be given in higher doses when needed and no serious side effects are expected.
