Hi,
I have gone through the picture although it was not clear enough and the red beads seem to be blood.
I want to go to your medical history step by step before running into final conclusions without being unnecessarily alarmed. Can you please provide the following info of yours? That can help me assist you further:
- You are saying to be suffering of lightheartedness and stomach pain, for which you have been prescribed
amoxicillin. Did the doctor who prescribed it tell if you had any infection (ENT or GI or uro-genital tracts)?
Amoxicillin is a wide broad antibiotic used to treat infections. That's why I am asking why it was prescribed.
- Once started amoxicillin, you have had stomach issues. Usually,
diarrhea and abdominal cramps are associated with amoxicillin use. Can you please give details of your stomach issues:
1) did you experience diarrhea or
constipation or alternating diarrhea/constipation?
2) did you have abdominal cramps?
3) can you check your anal area and do you notice any bump there (hemorrhoids)?
4) have you been eating/drinking beets, tomato juice, cranberries, or cocktail drinks with added coloring?
If you have been experiencing constipation and passing hard stool, that could explain the red beads you have noticed in your stool. Passing hard stool could have triggered hemorrhoids and resulting with
blood in stool.
Looking forward to have the requested details in for further assistance!
