Hi
Welcome to Healthcaremagic
Greetings of the day

Dear Ms

Swelling of one limb suggest the possibility of either vascular compression or lymphatic obstruction leading to lymph oedema needs to be considered. Exact diagnosis will depend on clinical examination and substantiated by investigation. I would suggest you the following

1. Thorough clinical examination from your Physician and Gynecologist

2. Venous Doppler examination of lower limb and pelvic veins

3. Ultrasound scan of abdomen and pelvis to rule out any pelvic pathology compressing on pelvic veins causing venous congestion and oedema in lower limb

4. Complete blood count along with peripheral smear examination

Brief Answer:
Your weight is definitely on higher side

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms

Your weight is definitely on higher side . Even Obesity is unlikely to result in swelling of one limb alone. Unilateral swelling or swelling of one limb is likely to be due to either venous congestion or lymphedema which will require further evaluation as advised previously.

Answered by Dr. Deepak Kishore Kaltari (48 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Further investigation required

Detailed Answer:
Dear Ms

As per MRI report there is joint effusion which is possibly related to age related arthritis of joint and obesity . Bakers cyst is usually seen secondary to joint effusion. The scan also reveals oedema of subcutaneous tissue .

Further evaluation by Doppler scan and Ultrasound of abdomen will be required. Management of joint effusion requires weight reduction. I would suggest you to get scan done in consultation with your Physician.
