Why would that dr recommend the colonoscopy?
Brief Answer:
To rule out the presence of lipomas in colon
Detailed Answer:
In some individuals multiple lipomas in the skin are associated with visceral lipomas in the respiratory and alimentary tract.
Thats why the dermatologist had asked you to go for colonoscopy to rule out the presence of lipomas in the colon.
