Suggest Treatment For Low Grade Fever

gastroenteritis
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Welcome to Healthcare Magic.
It seems that you are having Gastroenetritis, which is an inflammation of gastrointestinal tract.
Considering the onset of symptoms, the duration and the presence of low grade fever the cause of this inflammation might be a bacterial infection or parasitic one. These infection can be spread by close contact with an infected person, or by drinking or eating infected food or water.
Since the diarrhea has lasted for 2 weeks and the symptoms doesn't seem to improve ,you need to consult a physician.
A stool sample should be taken to be tested in a laboratory for the presence of bacteria (especially campylobacter, salmonella, or E. coli), or examined for microscopic parasites.
Meanwhile try to drink plenty of fluids to avoid dehydration.
Hope it helps.
Let me know if you need further help.
Kind regards,

Detailed Answer:
Hello again.
I won't suggest to take any otc medication to ease the episodes of diarrhea because.
When diarrhea is a symptom of an infection caused by bacteria or parasites, antidiarrheal medicines can actually make the condition worse. This because these drugs work mainly by slowing the contraction of gastrointestinal tract so more water can be absorbed improving the diarrhea. But when diarrhea is caused form an infection slowing the GI tract keeps the body from getting rid of the bacteria or parasite that is causing the diarrhea.
You need to drink lot of fluids and drink electrolyte solution like electrobion
Banana, Rice, toast, yogurt can be included in the diet.
You can start an Probiotic three times a day.
Take care.
