Brief Answer:
She can be very well treated

Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Regards to your worry and your Grandmother.

If the diagnosis is done correctly, treatment is well executed by a TEAM of Doctors specialized in their fields, your Grandmother will be fine.

Is it possible for you to post the reports here?
Reports of her blood, urine, ultrasonography and all please.

Hemoglobin can be well improved by blood transfusions.
To tie the bleeding hemorrhoids is not a big Surgery, can be done under local anesthesia by an experienced Surgeon to stop bleeding.

Potassium will improve with Medical management.

She will not die. She can improve very well .

Brief Answer:
insist on an active treatment.

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for the reports.
Says: hypertensive renal impairment, bleeding hemorrhoids and all.
Urea/ BUN high. RBC count is less. hemoglobin is reduced to 5.3;

Grandmothers age is 84. Medical management of the kidneys , high blood pressure can still be managed.

How is her condition?
I still have a feeling that a combined approach of all specialist can still help her.
There are so many patients in geriatric age group with similar problems and still going on OK.

You should insist for an admission to the Hospital and all the problems managed by the respective specialist.
We MUST try....
HOPE is the single word and serving the old is serving the GOD. Insist on an active treatment.

Brief Answer:
Have a Hope.

Detailed Answer:
I can certainly understand your mind.
Have a hope,
Medical wonders do happen ,
we do see for so many years.
Recently sent home a patient of 100 + years who was brought in a hopeless position , went home walking...
Have hope , do the best possible.

Request Doctors to do their best and be ready for anything they want like , blood, medicines any procedure they want to do like dialysis. Give them a full hand, meaning give consent for any sort of treatment they want to conduct. See the results.
