Brief Answer:
can use those drugs in pregnancy under doctor's supervision.

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Welcome to HCM.
I understand your concerns.

Your libido is severly diminished. You are 4 months pregnant.
In my opinion, you can use estrogen or progesterone creams.

Also, tetrafol plus is safe in pregnancy and might be available over the counter at your place. It will take atleast 2-3 months to show its effects.

Tentex forte can be used to increase libido. But these being ayurvedic preparations, I am not sure about its safety in pregnancy. May be, an ayurvedic specialist would comment better on this.

Please do keep your doctor informed about whatever drugs you use.

Hope my suggestions clear your confusion.

Feel free to ask further.
Take care.
Thanks.

Thanks for replying Dr.
which would you recommend among estrogen and progesterobe creams? Which is the best. And is it to be applied only to the clitoris or around the vulva. How long before it stays acting. Also are there any side effects to the baby on absorption. It's embarrassing for me to discuss this with my gynaec as he's very old and not very approachable for these topics. He's a family gynaec.. Hence uncomfortable. Please advise in best interest. What health conditions do you think would be adverse for using this cream?

Brief Answer:
progesterone cream.

Detailed Answer:
You are most welcome.

Both estrogen and progesterone can be used.
But estrogen alone are said to increase the risk of endometrial hyperplasia.
So, I would suggest you to use progesterone.

It has to be applied directly on the mucus membrane (inside) of vagina and not on the skin 1-2 times a day. It will take some time to start showing its effects, around 2-3 months of regular usage.

There would not be any side effects on baby.
But you can experience side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache and muscle pain and weight gain.

It is not to be used in cases of liver disease, breast cancers and depression.

I would still advise your doctor's supervision before using this.
Hope this helps.
feel free to ask further.
Take care.

Thanks.
