Brief Answer:
Considerations

Detailed Answer:
hello and thank you for sending the question.

You can take hydrocodone to alleviate your pain safely with a low platelet count. However I think it is very important that you discuss management of your pain as well as your low platelet count with your primary care physician.

Please contact your primary Doctor today for more instructions and follow up. I think it's important that you have this pain evaluated if it is progressively worsening.

Thank you again for sending your question. Again I would not take any medication without first checking with your primary care physician.

Sincerely,

Dr. Galamaga
