Suggest Treatment For Low Self Confidence In The New Workplace

Question: I am a fresher and I have recently joined my company. The people in my office are quite rude and not accepting at all. My boss likes to get the work done and doesnt take any excuses. When i have to do interdepartmental work, it becomes difficult to interact with anyone, since they talk to you in a very degrading tone and i dont understand what to do. I feel bad and prefer not to interact with anyone and this makes my work suffer. I cannot seek help from my boss or HR as i have tried that and it was in vain. This is shaking my self confidence and i dont feel like coming to the office. What to do?

Brief Answer:
happens to all of us--new school, college, job, city, society.

Detailed Answer:
Hi welcome to health care magic,
This happens to all of us--new school, college, job, city, society. It takes a some time to get to know people, gain confidence of people and make friends. Slowly select a few people closer to your age and keep smiling and saying hello. One day a few will start reciprocating.
At present you are junior so people feel there is nothing to gain from you. People are selfish. But keep persisting in smiling at people, working hard. Once you do a good job, you will not have to go to your HR manager. He will take interest in you. Till then please be patient and remember--you are not the only one who faces this problem. Many people do. Hang on to your job and self confidence. It will soon repay you. A year later you will wonder why you were bothered so much.
Wish you all the best.
Regards
