Suggest Treatment For Lower Abdominal Pain

default
Posted on Mon, 27 Jun 2016
Question: I have a small pain in my lower abdomen, left side, about 3 inches above by testicle. Could this be an enlarged blood vessel caused by longtime masturbation? I have had a ultra
sound and my primary says the tech did not see anything. I am 79 years of age. YYYY@YYYY
Is this potentially dangerous as for example a bleed Out?

Brief Answer:
You should consult urologist.

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Thank you for the query.

This is not due to masturbation for sure. Masturbation does not cause any problems as this is kind of natural process.

Your pain can be caused by testicle inflammation, inguinal hernia, prostate inflammation or even prostate enlargement. In my opinion you should consult urologist. Rectal examination should be done (for prostate issues) as well as urine analysis, PSA level check and transrectal ultrasound if necessary.

This is not an urgent for sure and not dangerous at this moment.

Hope this helps. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
