Left lower zone pneumonia
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
I have gone through the report and it looks like you have a lower respiratory tract infection.
I usually put my patients on a combination of cephalosporin and quinolone, for example Tab Taxim 0 200 twice daily with levoflox 500 once a day. Amox with Clav is not the ideal drug to be taken for a lower respiratory drug as first line treatment however your physician is the best judge for the choice of antibiotic. Continue taking the antitussive medicine.
Lower respiratory tract infections are common and are easily treated with antibiotics. I recommend that you repeat an x ray after 1 week of antibiotics.
Watch out for
1. Fever
2. Increase in quantity of sputum
3. Breathlessness
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
