Question : Hi, I have had lower leg numbness in both leg's for about 5 months now and recently about 2 months my upper legs have been very weak. I sometimes cain't get into a vehicle with higher step's . I have to be helped. My leg's collapse when I try to step up . Also I fall a lot.

Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Weakness in lower limbs can be due to neuropathy, myopathy or spinal cord involvement.
Evaluation by a doctor preferably Neurologist will help in determining the location and cause.
Based on examination investigations can be planned like nerve conduction testing, vitamin D, thyroid profile,CPK and MRI of spine.
