Question : Hello, I have a sorelump on the shaft of my penis under the skin. I am sexually active and I have recently slept with three different woman, on all occasions vaginal intercourse was with a condom. Only on one occasion did I receive oral sex without a condom. I do also masterbate regularly. I am now concerned that this is an STI

Explained
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
Based on the image you uploaded, its unlikely to be an STD. It appears to be inflammation associated with friction related to the condom or perhaps the oral sex episode that you mentioned. A second likely cause is a boil or an infected hair follicle. Local antiseptic like povidone should be used to keep the area dry and clean. Local mupirocin ointment should also be applied. If the lesions are painful then ibuprofen can be used. A one week course of broad spectrum antibiotics like cefixime or amoxicillin clavulanate should also be advised. Most likely it will resolve with the above. If it persists despite the treatment then an STD panel should be done in consultation with your doctor.
