Suggest Treatment For Lump On The Back

Question: I have had a small lump on my mid right side of my back for a long time. I would say at least A year or two. It cant be seen but can feel it when I press on it. I recently had an abdominal ct for unrelated stomach pain Which showed an unrelated cause that has since resolved. the bump is painless and when I lay down feels flat and hard to find. If I bend in a wierd position when lying down some times I will feel pain in that area though. So my question is how worried should I be.....Would a negative abdominal ct mean it probably isn't serious and what kind of Dr would I go to to check it.
Brief Answer:
You need to be examined by a surgeon.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the lump on right side of your back.
I have gone through your problem described in your query, I am of the opinion that this is some sort of soft tissue tumor may be simple fat lump or lipoma. Such tumors are not serious unless further tests like a biopsy of the lump prove it to be malignant.
You are therefore advised to visit a sugeon for proper examination.
Hope this answers your question.
