Question : I just noticed a lump on my upper left thigh. Not painful, the side of a golf ball, and soft. Also dull ache in my testicles for the past week or so (not sure whether sympthoms are connected). Do you have any idea what it might be?

In view of symptoms , lump can be an enlarged node due to testicular infections.

Such enlarged nodes common in the region of upper thigh in case, there is any surrounding infection or inflammation.

So ideal would be to get clinical evaluation done.If needed doctor might want to get a ultrasound of scrotum and lump done.

This would be sure way to know what it is.
