Question : I have a lump-like feeling under my right rib cage for about two months now. I had undergone an annual full body check up 2-3 weeks back and nothing came out in that. Chest x- ray and lungs test(I had to breath into an equipment through my mouth) was found normal. Only things that came up in that test was cholestrol and vitamin b-12 deficiency. I have also started exercising for an hour daily after those reports came up.
I have been smoking about 10 cigs a day, on an average, for the past 5+ years. And I also drink twice/thrice in a month.

Brief Answer:
CT chest
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Since you are having lump like feeling under your right rib cage for about two months i would advise you to do CT scan of chest with contrast.
Since your chest x ray and lungs test was found normal u do not need to worry and you need to do CT scan chest to rule out any space occupying lesion in your chest.

I currently also have some stiffness in right shoulder. I have been having mild cervical spondylyosis for about 5 yrs now, so I initially thought that the stiffness was related to that. The stiffness in neck and shoulder used to ease out when I used to work out earlier, but this time the shoulder stiffness won't go away.
Can they be related?

Brief Answer:
anti-inflammatory gels
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Stiffness in your neck and right shoulder is due to strained muscle and is not related.
I will advise you to use ibuprofen painkiller gel since you are allergic to diclofenac 3 to 4 times daily in the stiff area of your neck and shoulder.
