Question: Hello
I have 2 masses in my left groin area already had ultrasound done largest is 1.7x5.5cm the other is not much smaller and they don't seem responsive to antibiotics I've been on 100mg doxycycline, 500mg keflex, both had no effect in reducing size now I'm finishing 2 500mg dose a week azithromicin for 3 weeks still no change having abdominal and pelvic c.t on Monday,, lymphoma runs in my family both mother and fathers sides should I worry since antibiotic aren't working

Note the history of the lumps, ultrasonography, sizes, unresponsiveness to the treatment and strong family history of lymphoma.

Yes, this is worrisome.
Anyway you are going for the CT scan as you have mentioned.

I would advise you to insist your Doctors to go for tissue diagnosis by FNAC to start and later by the formal biopsy if required.
Please get a referral for an Oncologist.

thank you for your advice I think my doc is already considering biopsy if the azithromicin doesn't work have follow up on 9-22 already know oncologist if needed
