Suggest Treatment For Lumps Under The Forearms

default
Posted on Fri, 17 Jul 2015
Question: Under both forearms I have a row of small lumps or nodules (probably misspelled). They do not hurt but I just noticed them and was wondering what they may be. They may have been there all along but I just never realized it. Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Multiple Lipomas of both the forearms/ Benign Tumors

Detailed Answer:
Hi,Dear, Good Evening and Thanks for your query to HCM.

I studied your query in all the details put forth by you.

Regarding cause and Nature of the forearm Lumps-
-In my opinion-you have multiple Lipoma-which are benign tumors by all means.
-Your worry appears to be if they are cancerous?Answer is they are non-cancerous or non-malignant but Benign tumors.

Regarding advise on plan of Treatment-
-As they are painless-they can be just neglected.
-But still if it worries you more, then I would advise you to Consult your ER Surgeon , who after due investigations would do Excision Biopsy.

But for your age at 74, I would advise FNAC (Fine Needle Aspiration Biopsy) Biopsy before planning the Excision of the Lipoma lumps or nodules.

Hope this would relieve you of you worries about the multiple painless nodules on both the under-forearms.
Wishing you long healthy life.
Well-come to HCM for further queries in this regard.

With Regards.
