Question : I have lyme disease confirmed. What medications should I take for this?
Brief Answer:
Antibiotics.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for asking
I read your question and i understand your concern. With diagnosed lyme disease treatment is mostly with antibiotics. There are many options of antibotics to choose from. Your doctor rightly put you on tetracyclines. Some times we may consider combination antibiotic with macrolides, cephalosporins or penicillins.
Continue the doxycycline for at least 3 weeks twice a day and stay in touch with your doctor. I hope it helps. Take good care of yourself and dont forget to close the discussion please.
