i have a history of breast cancer
Brief Answer:
less likely from breast cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
Groin nodes are uncommon in breast cancer but not impossible. But having only a groin node and nothing else is very rare in breast cancer. That's why the scan is important.
Sometimes groin nodes can enlarged due to unrecognized infection in lower limb or genital area. This is usually XXXXXXX and tender.
I would recommend a physical exam (probably done) followed by fine needle aspiration of the node if suspicious.
Hope this helps.
