Question : I have suffered from malessezia folliculitis on my chest, neck and back for about 18 months. Topical anti fun gals are working marginally with good clearing but constant recurrence in spite of very good hygiene. My dermatologist has prescribed terbenifine but I'm afraid of the side effects. According to a large study 43% of those over 60 have temporary or permanent loss of taste depending upon dosage and duration. I'm 66. Thoughts?
