Question : Iam 37 ye old and been under physiatrist care for years. I am diagnosed with manic depression Biolar disorder, among a lot of health problems..... My Dr. retired 3 months ago and haven't been able to find a new one. I now out of medication, as of last night and I feel like Im going crazy. no Dr can't see me least a month and one told me to go to the ER, but that will cost me a lot , we have a large deductible, and five children.
HELP!! XXXX
my husband wants to know if you can call in my prescriptions to our pharmacy he can fax you any paperwork you need until of last months for any paperwork my other Dr. gave us until I can see you. Are you able to prescribe these medications?

Thanks for writing to us.

I can understand your concern.

Prescription thorough phone or email or fax without seeing a patient is not valid according to law till now.I am sorry for inconvenience but that is limitation from our side.And yes medications for your problem are strict prescription medicines.

And it is also better to take prescription from any local doctor. If by chance any serious side effect occurs doctor can help you immediately.

I can suggest two things.

You can go to your GP with your case records and you can get prescription from him until you meet to new psychiatrist.

Or let me know your exact location and I can suggest name of psychiatrist near to you from our website if it is there.

I don't currently have a GP until February, they told me to go to ER with my paperwork, but the hospital is so expensive since its a new year and new deductible.
