Brief Answer:
Glands can hurt for weeks...even months depending on severity of disease.

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this persistent gland pain. The extent to which glands swell and the duration of pain greatly depends on the severity of the disease. However, symptoms lasting 13days must have meant the disease was pretty severe. This probably explains why you still have pains in the glands of the neck after this disease encounter. What makes glands to also pain a little longer is when they are being touched all the times. I will advise that you avoid touching the glands as this will only prolong the pains.

For now, take a short cause of Ibuprofen to reduce the swelling and pain. However, naked pain without further symptoms such as fever should cause no panic as this is totally understandable. following and infection. With normal ENT examination, you are fin and need no further real worries.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
