Question : My 15 year old daughter has a recurring issue that seems to arise every month-6 weeks where she gets discomfort in her abdomen. It seems to wipe her out. She missed school Friday and literally slept all day. She slept most of the day Saturday too....and is still sleeping this morning. She seems to have a very slight fever but nothing extraordinary but has almost no energy. She was once diagnosed with a virus "that emulates appendicitis. That was a couple years ago but then the pain was extremely sharp and we rushed her to the emergency room. She is set to see an internist on Monday but just trying to figure out what might be going on. Any ideas?I have not heard back. Is anyone looking at my question? If not, please remit my funds.

Mostly lower abdomen. Stools normal. Does not seem stressed. She loves school. She does have allergies for which she takes Allegra and dymesta.

Brief Answer:
Looks Abdominal upset.

Detailed Answer:
Hi. It seems she is having Abdominal upset that is acid reflux.
I would recommend a combination of Pantoprazole and Domperidone once daily along with soft and bland diet.
In case the problem persists I would recommend an Ultrasound Abdomen.
If you have any further query, please ask me.
