Brief Answer:
Depending on the severity of the blow you should consider a medical checkup

Detailed Answer:
Good evening. My name is Dr. Saghafi. I'm an adult neurologist and I'd like to comment on your statement. I see many patients almost daily who have traumatic brain injuries and am very familiar with your particular type of injury.

Obviously, you've not provided enough information to come to any very scientifically supported conclusions but my guess from the TONE of your statement is that you'll probably? be OK? If you'd like to give more details on the blow to the head, if you were dazed, confused, knocked out, or none of the above? Are you nauseous, vomiting, forgetting things such as your name, address, other vital information? Are you overly tired, sleepy, or having a hard time keeping your eyes open? You've not said your age or if you've had previous blows to the head, etc. etc.

If you have any of the above symptoms and especially if your mental status is getting worse little by little. then, you should get an examination by a neurologist or ER physician as soon as possible.

Otherwise, just be careful next time or wear a hard hat in the area of hazardous work zones or equipment.

If this answer satisfactorily addresses your question then, I'd appreciate the favor of a HIGH STAR RATING with some written feedback on your part.

Also, CLOSING THE QUERY on your end (if there are no further comments) will be most helpful and appreciated so that this question can be transacted and archived expeditiously for further reference by colleagues as necessary.
