Suggest Treatment For Misalignment Of Front Teeth

Question: Hi Doctor ,

I have two front teeth protruding slightly , bigger in size,and has gaps ( attached image ,causing me to have bad smile ,which lowers my self confidence . Few guys have also pointed that out to me while having general conversation . I have to be very careful when laughing and it has reached a point where I cannot continue to laugh without thinking about my teeth .

Could you please look at the image and suggest me a very effective way to correct this condition . I am not considering using a visible bracelet that is visible as I am 29 years old professional .What are my options ?

Can invisalign correct my condition ? If yes, how long will it take ( approx time )and how much would be the overall cost for the entire treatment ( approx cost for my condition) in XXXXXXX .

I reside in XXXXXXX , I would appreciate if I get links of some reputed orthodontist or reputed Dental hospitals that can address my condition .

First of all thanks for approaching Healthcaremagic for your query.

I have gone through the picture and read through your query and accordingly, I must say that it can be easily corrected. Its just a usual problem of alignment of teeth. It can be corrected easily by orthodontic procedure.

Since you told you don't want usual orthodontic treatment where braces are seen, I can suggest you to have a lingual orthodontic treatment(not sure how well it works in this correction as lingual orthodontics and invisalign are still at the developing stages in XXXXXXX though many tell that it works well). Also it depends on the orthodontist how he corrects this teeth alignment. Some orthodontists have good training in lingual orthodontics. So I can suggest you to meet them up.(Since I am not from XXXXXXX I don't know any orthodontist there and not well clear about the amount in XXXXXXX as it differs from dentist to dentist and also place to place within bangalore).

The correction will take minimum of 16-20 months and it depends on you how well you follow your appointments for tightening the bands every month(Should not miss any appointment as it results in delaying the treatment and also damages your teeth and surrounding structures)So FOLLOW APPOINTMENTS STRICTLY!!! It is surely a correctable problem. Nothing to be worried.

So meet up a good orthodontist and get it treated.

Thank you for picking up my concern. I understand that you cannot name any private clinics in XXXXXXX , but could you site some reputed Hospital that has experienced orthodontist?
Should I look for a certified provider while visiting the clinic ,i.e what specialization a dentist should have to operate in such condition ?

Also, Could you please give me a rough price range for the treatment in my case ( my teeth isn't messed up to a large extent ) for lingual ortho & invisalign

Since , I do not want visible braces , are lingual orthodontic treatment and Invisalign the only corrective treatment available for my condition ?

I would Like to know which one has a more success rate in XXXXXXX and has a faster result ?

I kindly request you to answer all the above queries so that I can pick the right orthodentist .

Hello XXXXXXX I appreciate your prompt reply.I read through your query.I must say that this is usual case which can be corrected by orthodontic treatment.But I strongly suggest you to get it treated by an orthodontist(MDS ortho).Though it will be little costlier the result will be better than regular general dentist.And regarding the cost it will be starting rate of 25000-30000(lingual orthodontics)(the rate is rough rate it varies from person to person and also place to place) invisalign are still in developing stages in XXXXXXX and also I doubt these correction are difficult with invisalign.I suggest you to meet up a XXXXXXX orthodontist and get it treated.Regarding treatment period it will vary from 18-20months and mainly depends on you(how properly you attend the appointments regularly every month for tightening of bands etc).If you are irregular in appointments then the teeth may take more time to move and also it damages the structures surrounding the teeth).Hope you are benefitted from this reply.If more queries please do reply us.Have a healthy day!!!
