Question : My son, 19 month old has mouth ulcer on tongue. Unable to eat last 3 days. Kindly suggest gel or tube to apply.

Thanks for the query

Mouth ulcer in this age are mostly aphthous ulcer.These are white/yellow color small lesion with surrounding redness.
Although the exact cause not yet known it has been seen that it is associated with vitamin deficiency in 20-30% cases.
I would suggest you to apply clenora gel.It contains lignocaine (pain relieving agent) and cetrimide (antibiotic) along with choline and glycerine.
Wash your hand properly before applying this gel.Apply it 3-4 times a day.
Also give multivitamin supplements.
Avoid spicy foods.
