Suggest Treatment For Multiple Blisters On Chest, Arms, Legs And Back

default
Posted on Mon, 26 Oct 2015
Question: Hi! I am breaking out on my chest, arms, legs, back. Spread sporadically ... itchy, burning and weeping. I have been under stress due to a death in the family. I have also broken out on my hands and feet. Is shingles this far wide spread ... could it be a reaction to stress? What should I take to relieve this. It has been going on for two months ever since I received word of cancer in a loved one. Thank you!

Brief Answer:
Reduce your stress as is the sole most important cause

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Welcome and thanks for posting your query to the forum.

I can understand your concern for the skin condition fir last two months.

As per the description of the lesions it appears due to mild to moderate allergic phenomenon or due to stress induced itching.

I reassure you that the condition is not related to shingles. In singles there are multiple blisters are present. These are present on on area of body not crossing the mid line. These basically very painful rather than itchy.

I suggest you to not to touch or pinch or pop any of the affected area.

Do cold compressions over the itchy areas.

For the time being period you can apply cortisone cream.

An antihistamine such as loratadine or levocetrizine can be take for two times a day.

Stay away from heat and humid weather. Wear lose cotton clothes and do not wear synthetic clothes.

Reduce your stress as is the sole most important cause of the increase in the condition.

I hope this helps.
