Suggest Treatment For Multiple Moles On Skin

Question: Hi
I have noticed multiple moles all over the top half of my body. I am 21 years old and I have noticed more and more growing within the past couple of years. My mother had the same thing and she said they started coming on her body in her 20's. It was confirmed by her dermatologist that it was not skin cancer. Is that the same thing that is happening to me? Also, I noticed about a few months ago that I have a vertical black discoloration strip on my left index nail bed. I also noticed a dark mark on the side of my armpit when I raise my arm it is on the side of my armpit towards the back. It is a vertical line as well. My first thought is melanoma and skin cancer or vitamin deficiency maybe, but I am not sure. I have never really been in the sun like that, but skin cancer is the only thing that comes to mind. Please help me understand what these things could be.

Dear Ms
The clinical photograph provided are not clear. But the the picture provided it's unlikely to be Melanoma or any skin cancer. The vertical strip over the index finger along with blackish discolouration of the back of hands is most Likely to be due to Vitamin B12 deficiency.
