Question: Been battling muscle and body aches for 3 wks now. Seems like a cold, no fever although sweating profusely at night. No energy, feels like a cold but without the normal stuffy nose, sore throat etc. been flying a lot recently, maybe some sort of virus? Did take a course of anti biotics "Penecilin'' hasn't helped any ideas?

Brief Answer:
Explained

Detailed Answer:
Hello and Welcome

I appreciate your concern

Night sweats , weight loss and fever ( even though you don't have it), generalized body aches that don't improve upon Treatment and that too without a focus of infection is a sign for concern.

Please fix an appointment with your G.P and get your blood counts including ESR ,metabolic profile including Thyroid function ,blood sugar, urine R/E done.

Generalized fatigue is common and episodes can occur to the healthiest of people but other serious causes need to be ruled out first before a single symptom is focused upon.
