Question: I have muscle pain in my shoulders and sometimes in the back of my neck. I have bad allergies and sinus issues but don't know if they are connected. Is this stress and will it go away?

Brief Answer:
Pain most possible from the posture.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thank you for using HCM to post your question.
I read it carefully and I understand your concern.

The pain in your back is not connected with your allergy.

From the way you are describing it, seems more like a pain from bad posture. When you are stressed, you may focus your stressful energy in your back, neck and shoulders, the muscles there get stretched all the time and start hurting.

What may help to release the pain is to take a painkiller (PARACETAMOL as Tylenol 650mg trice daily after food)regularly for 3-4 days, and to apply a local analgesic (Diclofenac local application) locally by massage 3-4 times/day for 1 week.

Keep in mind to regulate your posture especially if you work in an office (desk job).

Hope this is helpful.
Let me know if you need more clarifications.
