Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query.

It is almost 6 days now that you are suffering from spam.
How come you can have this from MRE? Difficult to understand how one can get torso spasm due to MRE ? Why was MRE done? What were the reports?

Carisoprodol 350 works only to relax spam and thereby reduce the pain.

For effective relaxation of any muscle spasm one needs to break the vicious cycle
of Spam -> pain -> spam -> pain. The cycle has to be broken and at this stage muscle relaxants alone will never be sufficient. You need to break the cycle.

This can be done by:
*Medicines that reduced inflammation and pain both like Ibuprofen or Diclofenac in optimal dose, which can be prescribed by your Doctor after clinical examination. If required you can take these in injection forms as it helps to avoid gastritis and works better.
* Local rubrafacient liniments applied to the painful area as well as around it spreading even to the non-painful area ( to cover the spams of nearby muscles)
* Strict rest
*maintaining the room temperature a bit warm.
*Avoid coughing ,constipation ( if you have).
* No activities as any activity will involve the muscles of torso.
* Heating pads and/ or ice packs may not work in such a late stage.
*Effecting painkillers like tramadol can be given only if carisoprodol is stopped or the dose is reduced ( then may not be effective). Taken together may increase drowsiness. Talk to your Doctor regarding this possibility.
*Steroids - By virtue of its strong anti-inflammatory activity helps ( if there is no diabetes )
*Flying this Wednesday- with 6 day torso pain where you have to crawl out of bed - difficult to say. May be the therapy outlined may help.
