Suggest Treatment For Muscle Twitching And Tingling In Hands

default
Posted on Mon, 20 Apr 2015
Question: I was once told by my rheumatologist to stop the tingling in my hands I would need to take vitamin D. But I don't remember how much. Muscle twitching and tingling has gotten worse I currently take nothing.

No question... I did not research this site first. I pray it is legit. For people like me who can not afford or have insurance this is a God send if real. I am a RN I tell my patients all the time don't google you will only get confused. I'll get off of my soapbox. XXXX

Also I have a hx of hysterectomy and I am not taking any supplements or hormones to date.

Brief Answer:
Things will get better soon.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thanks for writing back,

I am sorry to hear about your insurance issue but i here, will try to help you in best way possible,

According to your history ,description and meds you are taking there are three pain possibilities of your problems of twitching and tingling,

1) Calcium/vitamin D deficit.

2) Vitamin B deficit.

3) Allergy (causing tingling , though rare chance)

These things can be controlled with few simple measures. Though it will take time 2-3 months but will get better hopefully.

SUGGESTIONS:

1) Start some multivitamine, better will be Centrum for women, one tab daily fo a month then on alternate day for a month then on third day for a month.

2) Start with a good calcium and vitamin D supplement. A dose of 1200 calcium and 1200IU of cholcaciferole (vit D) can be used per day for your age ...use it daily and keep using it wont be any issue.

3) Use exposure to sun light 20-25 mins a day, to augment vit D formation.

I am expecting that things will get better soon you don't have to worry I am always there to help you when ever needed.

You can directly discuss with me at.
