Brief Answer:
Yes , you can fast.
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for asking HCM
I have gone through your query. You are safe to take fasting during ramadan. Vitamin level of 40 is normal. You can take meat ,eggs ,cheese, fish etc to maintain b12 as well as vitamin d3 levels. It is usual for people living in sweden to get vitamin d deficiency if vitamin d rich diet is absent. As your fasting time will be longer make sure you are taking proper nutrients during Iftar and sahr.
Let me know if anything not clear.
I am happy to help you.
Thanks.

Thanks doctor for the reply. Got a prescription S tablets today to take tablets divisun
Is it ok to take it during night (800 IE)?
Before that I used non prescription in April not every day
It's a prescription d3 (kolekalciferol) and there is no risk for overdose ?

You can take divisun 800 IU at night. It is better if you take this along with a glass of milk.

A level below 200 is considered as deficiency. 340 is not considered as deficiency but the levels below 500 can have symptoms like muscle weakness or numbness. In that case better to take supplements. You can take 500mcg daily for this.
