Question: my son is 19, had nausea Monday, bad stomach ache that day, very little appetite. Much gas, belching. Today very bad lower back pains, more gas, constipated, has some hot/cold bouts. Also his urine is forming bubbles on top, not sure if that what is considered foamy.

Brief Answer:
Can be having gastritis, urinary tract infection should also be ruled out

Detailed Answer:
Hi! Welcome to health care magic! Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible.

First of all, it is sad to know what he has been experiencing lately. Based on the history you have shared, it seems as if is having an attack of gastritis or inflammation of stomach wall causing bloating or belching feeling accompanied with nausea.

Decreased bowel movement due to constipation is adding into the misery. Using motility agents like Domperidon alongwith PPIs like Omeperazole or Pantoprazole before meals will help and later on stool softeners like lactulose.

Meanwhile a urinalysis to look for signs of infection or protein leak, characterized by foam formation is very important, as abrupt change in urinary habits with the history you have mentioned shouldn't be ignored as it can even be early sign of kidney diseases.

Meanwhile take soft diets with fiber and increase fluids and water.

Wishing him a quick recovery. If you have any more questions, feel free to ask.
Regards.
