Question : I am experiencing pain in my both of my breasts and some nausea that has turned into acid reflux...I haven't had a mammagram in about 5 years but breast cancer does not run in my family. and I understand pain should not be a symptom of breast cancer unless its fibroid...I can't get into my doctor for another 10 days and I am worried that this could be something serious
Brief Answer:
Cancer not likely.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting us with your health concern.
A mild pain in both the breasts is less likely to be due to a mass or cancer. The pain can be due to mild hormonal changes or just a muscular pain. Taking rest, increase in fluid intake and mild pain killer can help. The pain is likely to decrease on its own in next few days. You can wait for 10 days and consult your doctor for a routine check up after that.
Please feel free to discuss further. I will be glad to answer the follow up queries that you have.
Wishing you good health.
Regards.
