Brief Answer:
Possible infection from c.diff;culture of stool to confirm it

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I am sorry for the situation you are going through.

You have a history of:
- loose bowels
- getting nauseated
- bad abdominal cramps
- feeling like burning up
- exposure to a family member infected with c.diff

All your symptoms and personal history make me think over possible c.difficile infection. A culture of stool is advised to confirm this diagnosis.

For the moment, I advise to:
- increase fluids intake
- take tasectan to stop loose stool (or pepto bismol)
- take antacids to ease burning up
- take probiotics to stabilize intestinal flora
- take OTC ORS to replace the lost electrolytes through loose stool

Antibiotics like ciprofloxacin and metronidazole are advised to start, but you need a prescription from your doctor.

Wish fast recovery!
