She won't eat anything because of the nausea so I'm afraid to give her more medicine. She just fell asleep but I am worried when she wakes up if all the medication will be out of her system and if there is withdrawls.
Fortunately no chance for withdrawals
Detailed Answer:
Dear Jalene,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.
I read your query and understand your concerns.
First of all I will advice to give her anti-emetic medication such as domperidone 10 mg or ondansetron 4 mg before giving anything provided there is continued nauseous feeling or vomiting. This will help us in retaining the medication.
Now regarding withdrawal symptoms I like to assure you that there is little chance if any f withdrawal symptoms. My observation is based on the fact that half life of ativan is 10-20 hours which mean some portion of medication will be available in her system to prevent withdrawal symptoms.
Regarding abilify the half life is approximately 72 hours and there is no reason to fear withdrawal symptoms of abilify.
I hope this helps you.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
