Question : Male, 60 years old, hasn't eaten for over 24 hours, frequent obvious twitching of both arms and legs (several times/minute), nausea, weakness, complained of single episode of hallucination. What can I do to help relieve the symptoms, will drink fluids but doesn't want to eat solid foods because of nausea. No pain.

                                    Brief Answer:
Use antinausea drugs.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
It is necessary to control the nausea before to take food, so antinausea drugs such metoclopramide, promethasine, domperidone etc. are necessary to be used.
Twitches may be related to low or imbalance of electrolytes in blood, so, blood tests about electrolytes levels and any corrections are necessary.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards.
