Brief Answer:
Sublingual ativan acts fast

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.

I read your query and understand your concerns.

Ativan comes in forms. One is regular pill and other is mouth dissolving pill. The mouth dissolving pill gets dissolved in mouth and directly enters into the blood system.

The regular pill need to be taken with water and from the stomach it gets absorbed in our blood system.

In this way the main difference is onset of action. If you are taking ativan for panic attacks on the need basis I think mouth dissolving will be better whenever required.

I hope this answers you.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
