Question: One doctor suggested my wife flukazonale 300 for 8 weeks, once in week. After taking this medicine she started feeling uneasy from stomach, like continuous nausea, loss of appetite, no energy in body. Before this medicine she was fine. I came to know that flukazonale must have affected her liver. We discontinued fluka after five weeks. Then I consulted another doctor who gave her omnaprazole , od, Entrofora BD, of oflaxacin & ordinazole BD, Silymarin & Lecithin suspension 1t.spoon BD, for five days, yet her problem is not over. She has very mild pain in stomach, needs to go toilet after eating any thing, appetite lost, feels no energy, pain in hand and foot.

Brief Answer:
Detail Follows.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
I would keep very high the possibility of Malabsorption Syndrome with the history provided.
I would advise you to stop all these medications and first of all get her evaluated.
1. Upper GI Endoscopy with Biopsy.
2. Anti TTG Antibody.
3. Hemogram with ESR.
There is no point in giving her so many medications with out proper diagnosis.
I would keep a possibility of Malabsorption Syndrome particularly Celiac Disease.
Get investigated and review with reports.
