Question : Hello Dr.
I was in the barber was a steam machine on my face and I felt warm and sweating and coldness in my limbs and tingling in the feet of dizziness and tight in the stomach and a desire to vomiting and after I came out for a few minutes outside the shop I came back with a natural feeling tired and drowsy.
Nasal locked and reflux in the stomach as I suffer from high blood pressure.
What are these symptoms and treatment

Hi, I am Dr Anshul Varshney , I have read your query in detail , I understand your concern.
This kind of episode occurs as a result of vaso vasal reflex with is like near syncope.
This can get aggravated by prolonged standing, skipping breakfast, abnormal posture.
In your case, this might have been stimulated by the steam and also a possibility is that the barber might have pressed your carotid's or somehow caused vagal stimulation during the massage.
This usually improves with in few minutes, but a hangover kind of effect may persist for a day.
In case you get the repeat episode, then you would require evaluation for stroke. I am keeping the possibility of stroke because you are a hypertensive.
In case your symptoms don't improve or you get a repeat attack again, then you would require to get a MRI Brain and Carotid Doppler done.

Hi Dr
Thanks for your reply, I was getting my reading of blood pressure and it was 124/90 and I am talking my medcine regularly and each month fallowing with Dr and the readings not exeding 160/100 since I suffer from blood pressure and this reading without medcine but with medcine not more than 146/96 as a maximum.
I am suffring from qaoloan and from sinus also is it possible from it and is it better to get MIR ?
Advice me please

In that case, you don't require any doppler or MRI. However, in case, you get any repeat symptoms again you would require that.
Just keep your BP in target range of 130/80 mmHg. Nothing else is required at present.
