Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for writing to Health Care magic, I am Dr , Muhammad Ahmad , I have read your question closely, I understand your concern and will be helping you with your health related problem.
Usually in case of children it is good to be extra careful as they are more prone to get problems compared to adults, So in my opinion if you have easy access to the emergency you can just get the child to the facility just for a review. This being said according to the history and description of the event , in my opinion your child is fine, this might just be a muscle spasm and it will need some massage and warm compresses to get better with a low dose OTC child pain killer syrup if needed.
So if convenient , get a medical checkup otherwise just give the child some gentle massage with some topical pain reliever and make sure he rests well he is expected to get fine soon.
I hope this answered your question, If you have more queries I am happy to answer you.
Regards.
Dr.Muhammad Ahmad
