Question : Hello,
My brother in law has been suffering with .. High fevers...stiff neck...breathlessness ... Weakness to severe weakness ..and now a rash on his chin..first symptoms have come and gone over the last month and a half

I am dr XXXXXXX Sultan and will be answering your query. I have gone through your query and being your physician I appreciate your health concerns..
He needs complete physical examination for proper management.
If I am your attending physician I well get your FBC , ESR . it is very important to get the blood culture and urine cultures. ultrasound abdomen and chest are also relevant.
I will put him on empiric antibiotics and change the antibiotics according to culture report..
Meanwhile stay calm and use acetaminophen to relieve pain.
